How to Buy Tickets
Series subscription orders are now being accepted. Series subscriptions (tickets for the entire series) can only be purchased by mail order/fax or in person at the Alumni Arena Box Office. Phone and web orders for series subscriptions cannot be facilitated.
Single lecture tickets for Edwards/Rove, Hosseini, Stewart and Nye can be purchased at the UB Alumni Arena Ticket Office, and all Tops outlets, or on-line through Tickets.com:
Tickets for Brazile and Quindlen can be purchased at the UB Center for the Arts Ticket Office, or on-line through TicketMaster:
Tickets for individual lectures can also be purchased by mailing/faxing the order form (see above) to the address noted on the form. Please note: discounted tickets (see "Discounts" section below) can only be purchased by mailing/faxing the order form with discount voucher(s) or in person at the Alumni Arena or Center for the Arts Ticket Offices.

Tickets for UB Students
UB undergrads and GSA-represented graduate students are eligible for a free ticket to most speaker events, while supplies last, as a benefit of SA and GSA’s sponsorship of the Speakers Series. Graduate students in the following schools/programs are not represented by the Graduate Student Association (GSA): Law, Dental, Medical, MBA.
- Edwards/Rove: UB undergrads and GSA-represented graduate students are eligible for one free ticket while supplies last. These free tickets will be distributed:
- Tuesday, Sept. 9, 9 am – 12 pm, Alumni Arena 1st Floor Concourse
- Wed., Sept. 10, 6 pm – 8 pm, Alumni Arena 1st Floor Concourse
- Hosseini: UB undergrads and GSA-represented graduate students are eligible for one free ticket while supplies last. Tickets will be available in the Undergraduate Student Association Office (350 Student Union) and Graduate Student Association Office (310 Student Union), beginning Monday, Sept. 29. UB ID required.
- Stewart: UB undergrads and GSA-represented graduate students are eligible for one free ticket while supplies last. These free tickets will be distributed:
- Wednesday, Oct. 29, 9 am, Alumni Arena 1st Floor Concourse
- Thursday, Oct. 30, 6 pm, Alumni Arena 1st Floor Concourse
- Spring 08 Speaker Events: Information will be posted at a later date. Please check back.
Discounts
Two Contributing Series Sponsors - The United University Professions (UUP) and TIAA-CREF, along with the UB Alumni Association and UB Office of Donor Relations are offering discount vouchers that provide significant cost savings on series subscriptions and single ticket purchases. Discount vouchers are recognized only at the Alumni Arena Box Office and Center for the Arts Ticket Office:

Fill out the attached order form and return with completed credit card information or, for series subscriptions only, with a check made payable to "University at Buffalo." Send with any applicable discount vouchers to Distinguished Speakers Series, University at Buffalo, Ticket Office, 188a Alumni Arena, Buffalo, NY 14260-5000. Please use VISA/MasterCard/American Express/Discover or check/money order for payment of your Series Subscriptions, and credit card payment only for single lecture ticket orders.
In Person
Beginning 8/25/08, tickets to individual lectures can be purchased at the UB Alumni Arena Ticket Office (Edwards/Rove, Hosseini, Stewart and Nye) or the UB Center for the Arts Ticket Office (Brazile and Quindlen). Non-discounted tickets for individual lectures can also be purchased at any Tickets.com or TicketMaster locations, depending on the lecture (see above).

University at Buffalo Ticket Office Locations
The UB Alumni Arena Ticket Office is located just inside the Alumni Arena (see map ); the UB Center for the Arts (CFA) Ticket Office is located just inside the Center for the Arts main entrance (see map ). Both buildings are located right on Coventry Circle, on the North Campus of UB. Fifteen (15) minute patron parking is allowed on the Circle to facilitate your in-person ticket purchase. The Alumni Arena Ticket Office is open: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. The CFA Ticket office is open: Monday - Friday, 10 am - 6 pm. The Ticket Offices will remain open until program start-time (8 pm) on the days of the lectures. Credit cards and cash accepted. Checks accepted for Series Subscriptions only.
Returns and Exchanges
The Office of Special Events has a no-refund-or-exchange policy for tickets purchased for any Distinguished Speakers lecture. However, refunds or exchanges will be honored in the event of a lecture cancellation.
