- Both buildings are located on Coventry Circle (North Campus).
- 15 minute parking is allowed in the Circle for in-person ticket purchase.
- Credit cards and cash accepted. Checks accepted for Series Subscriptions only.
- *On the evening of a Distinguished Speaker event, the ticket office in the building hosting the lecture will be open during the hour preceding the event (7pm – 8pm).
How to Buy Tickets
Series subscription orders (orders for the entire series) can be placed through the UB Center for the Arts Ticket Office. You may make your purchase in person, or by mail or fax, using our order form: PDF (60KB) | Excel (51KB)
Tickets to individual lectures are now available as well. Single lecture tickets for Annan, Blair, Lopez, Tyson and Maher can be purchased through the UB Alumni Arena Box Office and Tickets.com. Annan, Blair and Lopez tickets may also be purchased through Tops Friendly Markets.
Tickets for West and Atwood can be purchased at the UB Center for the Arts Ticket Office, or on-line through TicketMaster.
Please note: discounted tickets (see "Discounts" section below) can only be purchased at the Alumni Arena or Center for the Arts Ticket Offices.
Tickets for UB Students
UB undergrads and GSA-represented graduate students are eligible for a free tickets to all speaker events, while supplies last, as a benefit of SA and GSA’s sponsorship of the Speakers Series. Graduate students in the following schools/programs are not represented by the Graduate Student Association (GSA): Law, Dental, Medical, MBA and Pharmacy P2-4 (P1’s are considered undergrads and eligible for SA Undergrad tickets).
Discounts
The United University Professions (UUP) and TIAA-CREF, two of our Contributing Series Sponsors, and the UB Office of Donor Relations are offering discount vouchers that provide significant cost savings on series subscriptions and individual lecture ticket purchases. Discount vouchers are recognized only at the Alumni Arena Box Office and Center for the Arts Ticket Office:
- UB United University Professions Chapters (UUP) Members:

The UB Alumni Association also provides discounts. These offers are valid for UB Alumni Association membership only.
New Series Subscribers:
- If you are a UB Alumnus who is not currently a member of the alumni association, you may purchase a membership and new 2009-10 Speakers Series subscription(s) as a package, at great savings on each. The Offices of Alumni Relations and Special Events invite UB Alumni to join the Alumni Association with a 1-year membership ($50 Value) and enjoy the 2009-2010 Distinguished Speakers Series from great seats with a subscription in the Director’s Block - Tier II seating (Value: $228). The package price for the membership and the subscription is $240, which represents a $38 savings! Additional subscriptions can be purchased at the Alumni rate of $222 per seat. Series Subscription Renewals:
- Dues-paying members of the UB Alumni Association who are renewing their series subscription(s) from 2008-09 or would like to purchase new series subscriptions may request a discount voucher via e-mail at ubaamembership@buffalo.edu or by phone at 1-800-284-5382. This voucher can be redeemed by mailing/faxing it with your ticket order form to the Center for the Arts (CFA) Box Office at 645-6973, or in person at the CFA Box Office for Series purchases & individual lecture purchases for West and Atwood, or in person at the Alumni Arena Box Office for individual lecture purchases for Annan, Blair, Lopez, Tyson, and Maher.
Individual Lecture Ticket Purchases:
- If you are a dues-paying member of the UB Alumni Association and wish to purchase tickets for individual lectures (as opposed to a series subscription) you may request your discount voucher via e-mail at ubaa-membership@buffalo.edu or by phone at 1-800-284-5382. Voucher valid only at the Alumni Arena Box Office and Center for the Arts Ticket Office.
UB Employees: Payroll Deduction Option
This option is available for the purchase of series subscriptions and for the purchase of tickets to individual lectures that are part of the series.

In Person
Beginning Aug. 10, tickets to individual lectures can be purchased at the UB Alumni Arena Ticket Office (Annan, Blair, Lopez, Tyson & Maher) or the UB Center for the Arts Ticket Office (West and Atwood). Non-discounted tickets for individual lectures can also be purchased at any Tickets.com or TicketMaster locations, depending on the lecture (see above)

Returns and Exchanges
The Office of Special Events has a no-refund-or-exchange policy for tickets purchased for any Distinguished Speakers lecture. However, refunds or exchanges will be honored in the event of a lecture cancellation.
